Venous Thromboembolic Disease [VTED] & Bleeding:
The RIETE Score

Introduction

The RIETE [Registro Informatizado de Enfermedad Tromboembolica] score was designed to predict the risk of major bleeding in patients with acute venous thromboembolic disease [VTED] within three months of commencing anticoagulant therapy with Warfarin.
